The Greenway Sustainable Mela 2024 is happening on 16th March 2024 (Saturday). It is going to be held at St. Xavier’s Ground, Jawalakhel from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Game of Phones
Greenway Nepal organized an event ‘Game of Phone’ where cycle riders downloaded our mobile application and joined the event ‘Game of Phones’. They rode to Sab ko Phones in Sanepa and they got a chance to sell, repair and evaluate their mobile phones. 4 lucky winners won a breakfast at Cafe Cucina, Pulchowk Square.
Learn to Pedal
Greenway Nepal collaborated with Kathmandu Cycle City 2020, Cycle City Network Nepal and Women Cycling Nepal for organizing a 3 day training on learning to ride a bicycle for Women on Wheel at Itumbahal. 9 young women learned balance, pedaling, braking, cornering and riding in the street.
Amenity Mapping
In today’s generation, cycling not only serves as a sport but also a cleaner way of transportation and a step towards sustainability. Mapping cycle amenities is pivotal for cyclists as it communicates and promotes cycle amenities and enables them to navigate cities by bicycle. Greenway Nepal successfully executed a mapping training event on 26th November to map points of interest for cyclists such as cycle shops and other amenities. Our Green Volunteers learned about digital field monitoring tools and methods to help map point data and took a small step in becoming the frontiers of change and promoting cycling as an alternative and environment-friendly mode of transport.
